Speaking

At present, Greg is the primary speaker and workshop provider for ReasonIO – though in several of our workshops Greg and Andi team up. Greg has engaged in public speaking for over a decade and a half, ranging from radio interviews to highly structured workshops, from discussions geared towards general audiences to specialized academic conference presentations, from invited scholarly lectures to presentations to working professionals.

Over the years, Greg has been invited to deliver talks and workshops at Columbia University, Saint Anselm College, Christopher Newport University, Green Mountain College, Salve Regina College, Campbell University, Felician College, the Culinary Institute of America, and a number of other schools.  He has also provided talks and workshops at libraries, churches, high schools, idea salons, restaurants, professional organizations, and even behind the walls of a maximum security prison.

If you’re interested in booking Greg to come and speak, please email greg@reasonio.com to discuss possible dates, topics, and fees.  A portion of our speaking engagements each year are provided gratis as a public service towards the common good.  Fees for other engagements are charged on a sliding scale. Recent representative talks and workshops include:

  • Struggling With Anger?  Useful Stoic Perspectives and Practices
  • Ages of Nihilism and Renewal in Nietzsche’s Birth of Tragedy
  • Existentialism, Anxiety and Human Freedom
